“Remember that every day contains a universe of potential; exhaust it. Live & love so intensely that when death comes there is nothing left for him to take. Wealth is love, music, sports, learning, family, and freedom. Above all, stay gold.”

December 10 Album of the year. What’s rocking your world?
I have a horrible confession. As a person who is crazy into music, this year has been a pretty bad standstill. I am still listening to the things that rocked my world last year. I usually keep up with blogs, and new music coming out, but I’ve been a naughty girl this year. However, I would love love love to share with you the newest Smashing Pumpkins song, “A song for a son”! I love it! Go Listen right now!
I’d also like to share a song that makes me want to dance like crazy.
Drop it drop it low girl!
December 11 The best place. A coffee shop? A pub? A retreat center? A cubicle? A nook?
Not trying to sound like a gym rat here, but lately my favorite place has been in the gym group class room. The gym is pretty gross in all other places, (The bathrooms smell like shit) but I love the HUGE room with floor-to-ceiling mirrors & wood floors. I have pretty atrocious self-image issues, but for some reason while in that room, I look into those mirrors and it’s the only time I think I’m beautiful. That’s a rare feeling for me, so it’s nice to think about it twice a week.
December 12 New food. You’re now in love with Lebanese food and you didn’t even know what it was in January of this year.
This goes back to the post about the best 2009 restaurant experience, and Ethiopian food.
The ‘bread’ served and known in the Ethiopian locale as injera, was great. I found the taste to be curiously delightful, it had a slight sour taste, because it ferments for a few days. (Like sourdough)
All the food was served on a single platter from which we all ate, using our hands (no utensils used). It’s a lot of fun. After reading a bit more on the internet, you are only supposed to use your right hand.
Not for the weak of palate – as they serve a blend of spices which include a grounded cluster of habanero, onion, ginger in a fine red powder. It was not hot enough to make me sweat, but spicy enough to leave me wanting more… much much more.
